Tim Hall serves as assistant coach for Oklahoma City University's men's and women's cross country and trackĀ & field programs.
Hall joined the Stars after most recently holding the high schoolĀ cross country and track & fieldĀ head-coaching position at Coweta, Okla. Hall led the boys team toĀ a Class 5A boys cross country state runner-up finish. Other successes at Coweta include a runner-up title for the boys 4x800-meter team and a runner-up titleĀ in the boys pole vault.
Hall was the Poteau (Okla.)Ā boys and girls head cross country and track & fieldĀ coach from 1999-2013.Ā While coaching at Poteau, he guidedĀ two all-state cross country runners, one individual girls cross country state champion and a boys runner-up pole vaulter.
During his college career, Hall was a member of the men's 1980-81 NJCAA national championship team. Hall competed as a pole vaulter earning all-American honors with a personal best of 15 feet, 6 inches.
Originally from Pawhuska, Okla., Hall set and still holds the pole vault
record of 14 feet, 6 inches. Hall received his bachelor's degree in education from Northeastern Oklahoma State University, a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Arkansas and a Level I coaching certificate from USA TrackĀ & Field.
In addition to coaching, Hall is an avid runner.Ā He has ran more than 20 marathons including the Boston Marathon.
