Benjamin Denton guides Oklahoma City University’s jumping and throwing athletes.
Denton joined the Stars in 2014-15 as OCU's track and field program continues to grow.
Over the previous four years, he has worked at U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City where attended high school. At Grant, he has worked two years as an assistant football coach before joining the cross country staff as an assistant for the past two years. This past season, he directed Grant to the state cross country meet for the first time in over a decade. He has also coached track and field the past three years at Grant, where he coaches all field events.
Denton is a 2010 graduate of McPherson College in McPherson, Kan., where he competed in cross country as well as track and field in several events.
