Oklahoma City University alum Nathan Doll enters his seventh year in the Stars soccer program as an assistant coach.
Doll assist OCU coach Brian Harvey in all aspects of both the men’s and women’s soccer programs. He spent 2013 as a graduate assistant for Harvey.
Since 2013, Oklahoma City has won the 2014 Sooner Athletic Conference men’s regular-season championship and two SAC women’s regular-season titles. Doll has guided four men’s all-Americans, 14 NAIA scholar-athletes, one CoSIDA academic all-American and men’s award winners 2014 SAC player of the year (Danny Frid), 2014 SAC offensive player of the year (Ruy Vaz), 2016 SAC defensive player of the year (Alexandre Taiar), 2015 and 2017 SAC goalkeeper of the year (Vladimir Kalajdzic) and 2018 conference player of the year (Aboubakr Diallo). Among the women, Doll has tutored two all-Americans, 17 NAIA scholar-athletes and conference honorees 2013 SAC player of the year and offensive player of the year (Megan McMahon), 2015 SAC player of the year and offensive player of the year (Ailee Thompson), 2015 SAC defensive player of the year (Allie Glazner) and 2018 conference newcomer of the year (Rebekah Brantley).
Doll, of Tulsa, Okla., played four seasons with the Stars from 2009-12. The 6-foot-1 defender scored three goals and passed out eight assists in 62 career appearances for OCU. As a senior, Doll spearheaded Oklahoma City to six shutouts while starting all 19 matches.
The Stars posted four straight winning seasons and a record of 42-22-12 during Doll’s tenure as a player. Doll became a two-time CoSIDA academic all-district selection while earning a degree in exercise science.
On the prep level, Doll became an Oklahoma Coaches Association all-stater and Tulsa World all-metro performer while producing 41 goals and 25 assists in his career at Tulsa Washington. On the club circuit, Doll was a member of seven state championship teams and two regional title teams.
