Sara Mobley came to Oklahoma City University after serving as assistant golf professional at Rose Creek Golf Club in Edmond, Okla., and at Teravista Golf Club in Round Rock, Texas.
Mobley coached the Temple High School (Texas) girls golf team from 2003-05. Under Mobley’s guidance, Temple finished runner-up at the district tournament in its first year of competition. Before then, Mobley was a student assistant coach at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.
At NSU, Mobley played on the school’s first NCAA Division II Tournament team. Mobley played at NSU from 1999-2001, during which time NSU won two Lone Star Conference Tournaments. Mobley also played at Southern Nazarene in 1998, when the women’s team finished as NAIA runner-up.
As a high schooler, Mobley played at Midwest City High School (Okla.) for three Class 5A runner-up teams coached by Jeff Doherty.
