Former Western State (Colo.) standout Brooke Pendergraft follows her former head coach Latricia Trammell to Oklahoma City University to serve as assistant coach.
Pendergraft became a three-time all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honoree while starring for Western State. Pendergraft accumulated 1,444 points, 692 rebounds, 150 assists, 128 steals and 180 3-pointers while starting all but one game during her Mountaineers career. She compiled career averages of 12.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.13 steals a game. Pendergraft was a three-time RMAC all-academic team selection.
She earned her degree in business administration with a minor in exercise and sport science from Western State.
An all-state and all-conference performer at Littleton Dakota Ridge (Colo.) High School, Pendergraft became a McDonald’s all-America nominee in leading her team to four league championships and a Great 8 appearance. She was also an academic all-stater.
