Rocky Chen helps Oklahoma City University’s runners recover from their training by offering an experienced and trained massage therapist.
Chen was certified in orthopedic and athletic massage from the Center for pain management in 2006 and has been serving as a therapist since 2000. He served an internship with the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Events Chen has been working at include the track and field events of the 2004 Athens Summer Paralympic Games, Ironman Triathlons in Lake Placid, N.Y., Louisville, Ky., Panama City, Fla., Tempe, Ariz., and New Orleans, La.
Chen also works with OCU spirit squads, Oklahoma City Thunder, Thunder Girls, University of Oklahoma football, gymnastics, soccer, softball, track and field and volleyball, USA men’s rowing team, USA volleyball men’s and women’s national sitting teams, Wyoming swimming and diving and Norman High School cross country and track and field.
