Reynolds was two-time Class 6A runner-up, sinking a hole-in-one at the state championship his senior year. He finished his prep career with school records for career wins (seven), single-season stroke average (71.74), 36-hole score (130) and round score (62). He also had the second-best career scoring average of 73.87.
