Stafford Gray joins the Oklahoma City University men’s golf coaching staff as a familiar face to the Stars program.

Gray assists OCU coach Kyle Blaser in all aspects of the program. He recently attained his master’s degree in business administration after getting a kinesiology degree from OCU.

Gray became a second-team NAIA all-American and all-NAIA Central Region as a senior playing for OCU. He finished tied for 10th in the NAIA Championships and carded a 72.96 stroke average in 2007-08. Gray recorded five rounds in the 60s and tied for second place in the Oklahoma Christian Intercollegiate.

As a junior, Gray averaged 75.21 shots per 18 holes. He shot two rounds in the 60s, including a 62 in the U.C. Ferguson Classic at Lincoln Park Golf Course.

For his three-year OCU career, Gray put together a 74.02 stroke average.

From Snyder, Texas, Gray became a state runner-up and district champion as a senior during his prep career. He was also a four-time all-district and three-time all-region selection.
