Born and raised in Oklahoma and currently one of the best marathoners in the country, she has been coached the past seven years by OCU cross country/track coach Conor Holt, who is also her husband.
Professionally sponsored by Marathonguide.com, Inov-8, Powerbar, and Hyperwear, she is a two-time U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier with a personal best marathon time of 2 hours, 38 minutes, 23 seconds. She placed eighth at the 2009 US Marathon Championship, achieving the A standard for the 2012 Olympic Trials (sub 2 hours, 39 minutes). Other highlights of her career include marathon wins at Dallas White Rock (2010), Mercedes (2011), Napa Valley (2011), and Fargo (2011), along with a second-place finish at Mississippi Blues (2011) and eighth-place at the Twin Cities Marathon (2008). She currently has the second most marathon qualifying times (seven times under 2:46:00) for the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials.
She was selected for the U.S. Team in the marathon for the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico and placed ninth.  Additionally, she was selected to be a resident at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., in order to prepare for the Pan American Games. Camille also raced in the 2011 NYC Marathon in November 2011, finishing as the third American and 18th overall in 2:40.06.  She is currently preparing for the 2012 US Olympic marathon Trials, the only qualifier from Oklahoma.
A three-time cross country all-stater and three-time track state champion (4x800 meters, 1600, 3200), she competed for Duncan (Okla.) and Oklahoma City Westmoore High Schools (2000 graduate). She continues to hold the school record at Westmoore in cross country for two miles (11:13) and also the 4A state meet record for the 4x800m relay while competing for Duncan.
She accepted athletic and academic scholarships to the University of Tulsa, where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science and a minor in Biology. She was recognized as a top 10 senior at TU, outstanding EXSS senior, and was a member of several organizations including the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society and The Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge. She has co-authored four peer-reviewed publications. Prior to running professionally, she worked as a Research Assistant in Foods and Nutrition at Purdue University.
