Oklahoma City University Athletics

The Oklahoma City University Athletic Department has consistently been ranked as one of the top ten NAIA athletic departments in the nation. OCU presents the color, pageantry and excitement of collegiate athletics through advertising, marketing, and promotional opportunities. OCU offers corporate customers a multitude of marketing and media sponsorship opportunities. Let us design a complete media and marketing plan for your company and put OCU Athletics to work for you.

Signage
OCU offers a variety of signage opportunities in its athletic facilities, including Abe Lemons Arena, inside the Freede Wellness Center, home of all OCU indoor sports. In addition to athletics competitions, the arena also hosts a variety of state high school tournaments, OCU graduation ceremonies, and the OCU Distinguished Speaker Series. High schools and vocational education institutions also hold graduation ceremonies inside the building, along with the Oklahoma United Methodist Annual Conference, among others. Approximately 250,000 people pass through the Freede Center annually. Options include:

            Scoreboard signage – Rear-illuminated 2' x 8' ad panels

            Courtside signage – 3' x 6' scorer's table signage

            Endzone signage – 3' x 8' signage hung behind each basket

            Concession signage – POP signage within the Freede concession

Jim Wade Baseball Stadium Signage – Jim Wade Stadium plays host to approximately 40 home OCU baseball games per year, popular OCU baseball camps, and summer tournaments. Additional thousands see Wade Stadium signage on nightly newscasts and as students/faculty/visitors passing on campus on a daily basis.

            Scoreboard signage – 3' x 12' ad panels

            Outfield fence signs – 4' x 8' fence banners

Brian Harvey Field  – Soccer signage is seen by thousands in attendance at home soccer matches per year and by passing motorists and students.

            Soccer signage – 3' x 9' banners. 

Schedule Card Advertising – OCU provides logo advertising on schedule cards printed for Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling, and Softball.   Schedules are distributed to fans, faculty, staff, and students and will provide an excellent reminder of sponsors' involvement with OCU Athletics.  

Media Guide Advertising – OCU provides advertising in media guides printed for Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, and Softball. Media guides are sold as programs at home athletic events and are terrific keepsakes of OCU athletics. Media guide advertisement dimensions range from ¼ page to full page. 

Scorecard Advertising – OCU produces a souvenir scorecard for Basketball and Baseball. Scorecards are distributed at home athletic events and allow fans to keep "score" during the game on a collectible piece.  

Schedule Posters – OCU produces schedule posters for Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, and Soccer. Posters are distributed to fans, students, and area businesses promoting OCU home games.

T-shirt sponsors – T-shirts make popular walking billboards on a college campus. T-shirt sponsors receive logo advertising on OCU t-shirts distributed at select home athletic events.

Website
Over 300,000 people visit the OCU webpage on a monthly basis. Website advertising is an effective way to get your message out to prospective customers and give them insight into your business. Visit the OCU website at www.ocusports.com

Livestreams
OCU produces approximately 75 webcasts of athletic events each year. Each webcast is heard by interested OCU fans simply by logging on to the OCU Athletic Webpage. Sponsorships ranging from :30 second commercials to in-game tags can be secured based on availability.

Game/Event Sponsorships
OCU plays host to a variety of games, tournaments, and special events throughout the year. Select "Title" sponsorships and "Presenting" sponsorships can be agreed upon based on availability. A sampling of sponsorship opportunities would include:

Couponing/Product Sampling
OCU Athletics can provide couponing and product sampling opportunities at Athletic Events or on-campus throughout the year as part of any corporate sponsorship.

Season Tickets
Season tickets to OCU Athletic events provide a great opportunity to reward employees or entertain clients.

Regatta Sponsorship
OCU hosts the largest collegiate Rowing regatta in the region every year. The Head of the Oklahoma Regatta boasts attendance of approximately 50,000 and prestigious competitors like the U.S. Olympic team, Harvard, Stanford and UCLA. Limited sponsorship opportunities are available.
