Could be one of the finest pitchers in Sooner Athletic Conference ... helps form formidable rotation for Stars.

2013: Continued his climb up the Fordham record book, moving into seventh place on the career innings pitched list (253.2) and eighth in career strikeouts (198)... Made a career-high 13 starts as a weekend starting pitcher, leading Fordham with a 4-6 record, two complete games, 84.1 innings pitched, and 69 strikeouts... Had six games or at least six strikeouts... Was 3-3 in Atlantic 10 play with a 2.95 ERA and 47 strikeouts... Opened the season with a win against Michigan, as he struck out seven batters over five innings of work (2/23)... Threw eight shutout innings with six strikeouts against Stony Brook (3/10)... Struck out 10 batters and allowed two earned runs over eight innings at La Salle (3/23)... Recorded a win over George Washington, as he scattered six hits and one run over eight innings with eight strikeouts (4/20)... Tied a career-high with 12 strikeouts at Butler in seven innings (4/27)... Tossed a complete game victory at Massachusetts, scattering seven hits and striking out three (5/4)... Finished the year with a win over St. Bonaventure, allowing one run on four hits with four strikeouts in seven innings of work (5/16).

2012: Remained as one of Fordham's weekend starters as a sophomore, starting all 12 games he appeared in... Went 4-2 with a 5.21 ERA and 59 strikeouts in 76.0 innings pitched... Recorded his first win of the season against Quinnipiac, throwing eight innings of two-hit ball with seven strikeouts (3/2)... Struck out a career-high 12 batters in 5.2 innings against FIU (3/10)... Won his second game against Maine, pitching 7.2 innings and allowing just one earned run (3/17)... Pitched a career-long 10.0 innings at St. Bonaventure, as he scattered seven hits and struck out seven (3/31)... Also earned wins over Temple (4/7) and Rhode Island (5/6).

2011: Named to the Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American Team by Collegiate Baseball... Named Honorable Mention All-Atlantic 10 as a freshman, while also being selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team... Three-time Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week... Led the Rams with an 8-1 record, three complete games, 93.1 innings pitched, and 70 strikeouts... Added three saves as a reliever, before becoming a starter at the beginning of Atlantic 10 play... Held opponents to a .233 batting average... Was even better in conference action, recording a 6-0 mark with a 2.27 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 63.1 innings pitched... Opened his career with a combined five innings of three-hit relief and a save in two games at VCU (2/18 & 2/20)... Recorded his second save versus Iona with three innings of three-hit ball with four strikeouts (2/26)... Made it three straight appearances with a save at Wake Forest, striking out six batters over the final three innings (3/4)... Earned his first win with 5.1 innings of three-hit relief at Charleston Southern (3/13)... Struck out seven batters in 6.2 innings versus NJIT to record his second win (3/20)... Tossed a complete game six-hitter in his first career start with a season-high 10 strikeouts at La Salle (3/26)... Struck out eight and allowed just one run in eight innings in a win over St. Bonaventure (4/10)... Ended the season with wins in his final four starts, beginning with a complete game, six-hit shutout at Saint Louis for his fifth win of the year (4/30)... Allowed two runs over 8.1 innings to defeat Saint Joseph[apos]s (5/7)... Struck out six in seven innings of work in a win at Massachusetts (5/14)... Ended the season with a complete game five-hitter with five strikeouts in a win over Xavier (5/20).

High school: Multi-sport athlete at Southampton High School, playing both baseball and soccer... two-year captain... two-time All-State and All-County pick (2009 & 2010), as well as two-time team MVP... first-team All-Long Island selection in 2010, posting a 10-0 record with three saves, two no-hitters, a 0.30 ERA and 139 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched... second-team All-Long Island in 2009 with an 8-1 mark and three saves to go with a no-hitter, a 0.70 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 59.1 innings ... set school records for strikeouts and ERA... received the 2010 Al Desiderio Award as the small school playoff MVP... 2010 Long Island All-Star Game MVP for Suffolk County ... named Newsday Player of the Week three times in his career ... lettered four times in baseball and once in soccer ... member of the National and Spanish National Honor Societies.
