OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference schedule commences for Oklahoma City men's soccer when Southwestern Christian visits for a 7:30 p.m. contest on Saturday.
 
The Stars enter the game at 2-4-2 after a 5-1 win over Central Baptist.
 
OCU is the defending SAC champion and two-time defending SAC Tournament champion. The Stars haven't lost a SAC opener since 2019 and SCU was the author of that loss, 1-0, in the last losing season for OCU.
 
Francisco Miquel leads the Stars with three goals this season. Hannan Ashraf, Ethan Zeinalpour, Sebastian Castillo and Noah Ragozzino have one goal each. Matheus Ambrozio and Harrison Knight lead the team with two assists each.
 
In goal, Vittorio Di Carlo has 36 saves with a 2.75 goals-against average.
 
SCU rolls into the weekend at 5-0-1 after a 4-2 victory over Our Lady of the Lake. Curtis Clarke leads the team with seven goals. Gabin Desplats has six goals and seven assists.
 
OCU scored a 1-0 win over SCU last season and is 6-8-1 all-time against the Eagles.
