DUNCAN – Oklahoma City laced second at the Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships at The Territory Golf Club on Tuesday.

Logan Allen just missed winning the individual crown as McKena Junkin finished with the best round of the tournament for a one-stroke win.

The Stars finished 60 over par and lost to Texas Wesleyan by nine strokes.

Allen placed second at four over par with rounds of 72, 74 and 74. She birdied the seventh and ninth holes on Tuesday to bring her tournament total to five.

Klaudie Karnikova went 77-81-70 for fourth place at 12 over par. She had 11 birdies for the tournament, including holes three, six, 10, 11 and 18 on Tuesday.

Taylor Tevis was eighth at plus 19. She had birdies on the eighth and 13
th holes on Tuesday to bring her tournament total to seven.

Gracie Levonitis was 13
th after rounds of 83, 81 and 83 for 31 over par. She brought her birdie total to five with one on the 11
th hole in the final round.

Carrie Bowers went 77-88-89 for 38 over and 17
th place. She had three birdies for the tournament.

The Stars await word of their fate as an at-large hopeful for the NAIA Tournament as the No. 23 team in the polls.

"I'm happy with how our team fought until the very end," said OCU Head Coach
Josh Gorzney. "Logan played exceptional throughout with a solo second place finish. Klaudie was our low round of our third round with a 2 under 70. We will find out if we get an at large bid by Friday. We will anxiously wait until then in hoping our season is not over"
