OKLAHOMA CITY – Twenty-third-ranked Oklahoma City heads to Duncan next week for the Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship.

The first two rounds are scheduled for Monday with the final 18 on Tuesday at the Territory Golf Club.

Previously: Oklahoma City placed ninth in a largely NCAA Division I field at the Stampede at the Creek, hosted by Nebraska-Omaha two weeks ago. The Stars had their best round of the tournament, 315, on the final day to finish at 114 over par for the week.Â
Logan Allen placed fifth with rounds of 71, 81 and 76 for 12 over par. She birdied hole one on Tuesday and finished with two birdies for the tournament.
Klaudie Karnikova birdied the seventh and 17
th holes on Tuesday to finish at 76 after rounds on 80 and 81 on Monday. She was 21 over par and had three birdies total, placing 30
th.
Taylor Tevis placed 59
th, going 84-91-79 with both of her birdies coming on Tuesday on holes seven and 13. She was 38 over par.
Gracie Levonitis finished at 43 over for 65
th with rounds of 87, 88 and 84.
Carrie Bowers birdied the 16
th hole on Tuesday and finished 69
th at 68 over with rounds of 89, 100 and 95.

Logan Allen leads the team in stroke average at 74.3, followed by
Klaudie Karnikova at 77.1,
Taylor Tevis at 81.6 ,
Gracie Levonitis at 82.9 and
Carrie Bowers at 87.1 Ortiz has been limited by injury but has a stroke average of 82.5.

The Field: Attempting to dethrone the Stars in the tournament are No. 15 Texas Wesleyan, USAO, Southwestern Christian, Wayland Baptist and Central Christian.

Reigning Champions: The Stars have won the last four SAC Championships. In last year's event,
