OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City heads to Duncan for Monday and Tuesday's Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship at The Territory Golf Club.
 
The Stars play two rounds on Monday and finish with 18 holes on Tuesday.

Previously: Second-ranked Oklahoma City claimed its fifth team victory of the season, taking the Texas Wesleyan Spring Classic by two strokes as Christian Yanovitch claimed the individual title. The Stars got a challenge from Tyler Junior College but finished well under pressure. TJC finished two strokes back. Ninth-ranked USAO was third and No. 7 Texas Wesleyan was fifth. Yanovitch has his second sub-70 round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting a 66 to finish the tournament at 10 under par (65-72-66). He birdied the third, seventh, 11^th, 15^th, 16^th and 18^th holes on Tuesday to bring his total to 17 birdies in the 54-hole event. He beat runner-up Sebastian Velaszuez of TWU by three strokes. Simon Jansson had his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, firing a 67 with six of his nine birdies for the tournament coming in the final round (holes one, four, five, nine, 10 and 11). He finished at four over par and tied with Carter Ray for 21^st, going 72-78-67. Ray had rounds of 74, 71 and 72 with eight birdies. Ray's final round included birdies on holes one, 13 and 18. Cameron Bozyk was 25^th at six over with Tuesday birdies on four and 12. He shot 72, 75, and 72. Philipp Perzl placed 38^th, going 72-72-78 with six birdies. As individual entrants, Lorenzo Santinelli was sixth at one under par and Jack Newton was 11^th at two over. Santinelli had rounds of 66, 73 and 73 with 10 birdies. Newton went 74-70-71 with birdies on holes one, nine 11 and 15. He finished the tournament with an eagle and six birdies.
 
The Lineup: Christian Yanovitch, Carter Ray, Cameron Bozyk, Simon Jansson and Jack Newton make up the OCU team. Lorenzo Santinelli, Luke Woods and Philipp Perzl will golf as individuals. Yanovitch leads the team with a stroke average of 71.1, followed by Ray at 71.3, Santinelli at 71.3, Newton at 71.8, Jansson at 72.3, Bozyk at 72.5, Perzl at 3.1 and Woods at 75.6
 
The Field: Joining the second-ranked Stars in the field are eighth-ranked USAO, ninth-ranked Texas Wesleyan, No. 17 Wayland Baptist, Central Christian, Southwestern Christian and Oklahoma Panhandle State.
 
History at SAC: The Stars placed third last season. Christian Yanovitch placed eighth and Carter Ray was 10^th.
