ELKHORN, Neb. – Oklahoma City placed ninth in a largely NCAA Division I field at the Stampede at the Creek, hosted by Nebraska-Omaha on Tuesday.
 
The Stars had their best round of the tournament, 315, on the final day to finish at 114 over par for the week.
 
Logan Allen placed fifth with rounds of 71, 81 and 76 for 12 over par. She birdied hole one on Tuesday and finished with two birdies for the tournament.
 
Klaudie Karnikova birdied the seventh and 17^th holes on Tuesday to finish at 76 after rounds on 80 and 81 on Monday. She was 21 over par and had three birdies total, placing 30^th..
 
Taylor Tevis placed 59^th, going 84-91-79 with both of her birdies coming on Tuesday on holes seven and 13. She was 38 over par.
 
Gracie Levonitis finished at 43 over for 65^th with rounds of 87, 88 and 84.
 
Carrie Bowers birdied the 16^th hole on Tuesday and finished 69^th at 68 over with rounds of 89, 100 and 95.
 
The Stars head to the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship on April 27-28 at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan.
