GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Oklahoma City advanced all three of its relay teams to the finals but not without a bit of controversy on Thursday.
 
The men's distance medley relay team was initially ruled as not qualified but it was discovered that NAIA officials mistakenly made the team run and extra lap. The team's protest was upheld and the Stars advanced with a time of 10:04.31. Some combination of Alexander Daly, Demarion Dean, Ayenew Devany, Hendrick Ramrie and Brendan Robeaux will run in the finals Saturday at 4 p.m. (Central)
 
The women's 4x800 relay team won its heat and qualified with the second-best time at 9:02.82. The Stars (Florencia Cabrera, Isabella Gutierrez, Erika Pena, Kenzi Readnour, Keira Readnour) run in the finals on Friday at 4 p.m. (Central).
 
The women's DMR had the fourth-best time, finishing in 12:12.39 and advances to the finals on Saturday at 3:40 p.m. Cabrera, Gutierrez, Pena, Vanessa Perez, Kenzi Readnour, and Keira Readnour are possible teammates for that relay.
 
The meet continues with three individual prelims for the Stars on Friday.
