BETHANY – Oklahoma City rallied to capture the series sweep over Southwestern Christian on Saturday, 12-11.

The Stars trailed 7-4 at one point and scored twice in the ninth to get the one-run victory and a 3-0 series sweep.

Aiden Van Rensum got the Stars on the board with an RBI single in the first, but SNU took a 3-1 lead in the home half.

Eli Hill homered for OCU to make it a 3-2 game. The Stars tied the game, 4-4, in the top of the fourth with an RBI single by
Will Ellis and a run-scoring passed ball.

The Eagles scored three times in the sixth for a 7-4 lead but the Stars rallied with an RBI single by
Tanner Ellis in the seventh before taking a 10-7 lead in the eighth.
Clayton Allen had a bases-loaded walk,
Trent Baker produced a run with a ground out, Van Rensum doubled in two runs and scored on a triple by
Wyatt Pace.

SCU scored four times in the bottom of the eighth to take an 11-10 lead but Baker got the big hit – a two-run single – to give OCU the final margin.

Nick Anaya pitched 1.2 scoreless innings to get the win.

Aiden Alexander paced the 15-hit OCU offense with three singles while Baker, Van Rensum, Hill and
Will Ellis had two each.

The Stars are back at work next weekend when Texas Wesleyan visits for a three-game set Friday and Saturday.
