OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City wrapped up its home regular-season schedule with a 54-44 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Senior Day.

Before the game, OCU honored its seniors
Akajia Handsom,
Sunishka Kartik and
Amanda Sene Da Cruz.

While Handsom missed the season with injury, Kartik and Sene Da Cruz went out with strong performances. Kartik had a season-best 12 rebounds while Sene Da Cruz led the team with 16 points.

Panhandle took its only lead midway through the second quarter but the Stars closed the half on an 11-2 run and never trailed again.

The OCU lead peaked at 54-42 with 2:52 remaining when
Monica Devine added a free throw to the team's total.

Victoria Ososanya and
Jerzie Bryant came off the bench for 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Stars are back in action on Thursday, visiting College of the Ozarks at 6 p.m.
