OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City snapped a four-game skid with a 61-58 win over Central Christian on Saturday.

OCU trailed for much of the first half before
Sunishka Kartik hit a three-pointer and
Jerzie Bryant added a bucket for a 28-27 lead at the 2:37 mark of the second quarter. After a pair of lead changes,
Weronika Tomaszuk delivered a 33-31 lead with a basket with seven seconds to go in the half.

The Tigers tied the game three times in the fourth quarter, but OCU answered every challenge to secure the narrow win.

Karitk had a season-best 19 points and led four double-figure OCU scorers. Tomaszuk,
Brooke Curry and
Victoria Ososanya had 10 points each.

Kartik and Ososanya had seven rebounds each, while
Lauren Rowan added five assists and two steals.

The Stars return to Abe Lemons Arena on Monday, hosting USAO in a makeup game at 6 p.m.
