OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City women's basketball gets back on the court this week with games at Langston on Thursday and at home against Central Christian on Saturday.
 
The game at LU begins at 6 p.m. and the home game on Saturday starts at 2 p.m.

Makeup Date: Oklahoma City makes up last weekend's scheduled game against USAO on Feb. 2 at 6 p.m.
 
Previously: Mid-America Christian used a 22-11 second quarter to build a lead the Evangels would never relinquish in a 70-57 win over Oklahoma City on Thursday. Brooke Curry hit five three-pointers on her way to a team-high 17 points. Sunishka Kartik added a dozen points. Amanda Sene Da Cruz had five assists and blocked two shots.
 
Last Time vs. Langston:  Nineteenth-ranked Langston held off Oklahoma City, 74-57, on Jan. 8. Sunishka Kartik led OCU with 16 points and Victoria Ososanya added 11. Lauren Rowan and Amanda Sene Da Cruz had seven rebounds each with Rowan adding six assists. Sene Da Cruz had three steals. Areyanna Hunter led Langston with 17 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
 
Last Time vs. Central Christian: Oklahoma City picked up its second consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference road win on Jan. 10, knocking off Central Christian 71-63. The Stars fired out of the blocks, shooting 57 percent in the first quarter and taking a 22-7 lead. OCU never trailed in the game. Sunishka Kartik led OCU with 15 points and had eight rebounds while Brooke Curry posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Amanda Sene Da Cruz added 13 points. Charmayne Marshall had 14 points and six assists for Central Christian.
 
Stars on the Road: The Stars are 3-5 on the road. Ellie Willard leads the team at 14.8 points per road game, followed by Victoria Ososanya at 10.1. Sunishka Kartik averages 1.6 steals per game away from home.
 
Stars at Home: The Stars are 3-6 at home this season. Victoria Ososanya averages 10.6 points per game at home, while Ellie Willard leads at 14.5 points per home game, though she has missed the last three home contests. Lauren Rowan averages six rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game in Abe Lemons Arena.
 
Against the SAC: The Stars are 3-10 against the Sooner Athletic Conference. Ellie Willard, who has missed the last five SAC games, is the only Star averaging double-figures in scoring against the league, averaging 14.6 points per game. Lauren Rowan leads OCU in SAC games with 5.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.3 steals.
 
Winning Numbers: The Stars shoot 47.5 percent, out-rebound the opponent by 4.7 rebounds per game and get to the free throw line 23.4 times per game in their seven wins this season. In the 12 losses, OCU has shot 34.8 percent from the field, gotten to the line 16 times per game and has been out-rebounded by 12.2 per game.
 
Trending: Sunishka Kartik is averaging 11.7 points per game over the last three games – all as a non-starter. Lauren Rowen and averaged five assists and 1.4 steals per game in that same time frame.

Our Best So Far: Brooke Curry's 11 rebounds at Central Christian is the best for OCU this season. Other category highs are 30 points by Ellie Willard against Ottawa (Ariz.), eight assists by Lauren Rowan at Panhandle State and six steals by Amanda Sene Da Cruz against Hesston.
 
SAC Glance: The Stars (7-12 overall and 3-10 in the SAC) are in 10^th place in the SAC and two games behind Southwestern Christian and John Brown in the chase for a playoff berth. Langston leads the league at 11-2 in league games. Central Christian is 12^th at 1-12.
 
League Leaders: Langston leads the SAC in scoring defense at 50.4 points allowed per game. Lu's Areyanna Hunter is second in the SAC with 2.7 steals per game.
