OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian used a 22-11 second quarter to build a lead the Evangels would never relinquish in a 70-57 win over Oklahoma City on Thursday.
 
MACU ended the half on a 12-3 run to take a 40-26 lead. Though the Stars wouldn't go away, the hosts got no closer than six points the rest of the way.
 
Brooke Curry hit five three-pointers on her way to a team-high 17 points. Sunishka Kartik added a dozen points.
 
Amanda Sene Da Cruz had five assists and blocked two shots.
 
The Stars' scheduled game on Saturday has been postponed and a makeup date will be announced over the weekend.
