OKLAHOMA CITY – Avery Ashley of No. 15 Oklahoma City University has been named the KCAC/Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week, the KCAC conference office announced Tuesday. Ashley was selected for her performances from Jan. 5-11 by a vote of the conferences' Sports Information Directors. The KCAC and Sooner merged to one national qualifying group in women's wrestling in 2025-26, and have chosen to honor one Women's Wrestler of the Week between the two conferences. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

Unranked Avery Ashley went 4-0 and pinned the No. 2 wrestler in the NAIA at the 110-pound class. Avery won by Technical Fall in her other three wins, including a 10-0 win over the No. 8 wrestler in the NAIA.
