 OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University puts its unbeaten season to another road test on Saturday when the Stars visit Central Baptist in Conway, Arkansas.
 
The teams square off in a 3 p.m. contest. The Stars come in a 2-0-1 on the season.
 
OCU Notebook
Unbeaten Stars: After a 6-0 season-opening victory, a 1-1 tie at Our Lady of the Lake and a 3-0 victory at Texas A&M-Victoria, OCU is 2-0-1 on the season. The Stars are looking for their third unbeaten start through four games in the last 11 seasons.
 
Last Time Out: The Stars are coming off a 3-0 victory at Texas A&M-Victoria (formerly Houston-Victoria). Amelia Horsford had two goals and Saizlee Carlton added two assists. Kayleigh Haygood scored the game-winner and Alyssa Schuerch had the assist.
 
Player of the Week: OCU keeper Candela Blanco had a shutout and eight saves last week as the Stars went 1-0-1, earning Blanco Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors. Blanco has a 0.33 goals allowed average this season with two shutouts.
 
D-FENCE: The Stars back line has been solid this season, allowing one goal on 15 shots through three games. Ten of those shots came in the 1-1 tie.
 
Goals: The Stars have 10 goals this season, led by Amelia Horsford's three. Yami Ponce has two while Kayleigh Haygood, Reese Roberts, Ali Daugherty, Chloi Thurman and Wachipi Hamelryck have one apiece.
 
With the Assists: Saizlee Carlton has three of OCU's seven assists this season. Alyssa Schuerch, Kayleigh Haygood, Reese Roberts and Inka Silz have one each.
 
Shooters: Fourteen Stars have taken 59 shots (19.67 per game) this season. Yami Ponce leads the team with 13 attempts and Amelia Horsford has eight. Of those 59, 33 shots have been on frame with Ponce putting six on target. Horsford and Kayleigh Haygood have tested the opposing keeper five times each.
 
A Brief History: The Stars and Central Baptist have met just one other time – a 4-0 OCU win back in 2016.
 
Scouting CBC: Central Baptist opened with a 5-0 loss to LeTourneau on Saturday and play twice more before taking on the Stars on Saturday. CBC was 0-11-1 last season.
