OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City plays a pair of matches this week in men's soccer, hosting Williams Baptist at 1 p.m. on Tuesday before travelling to Nebraska to take on ninth-ranked Bellevue at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Riding the Mo: After starting the season with a pair of 1-0 losses, Oklahoma City has improved to 5-2 after a 5-0 win over Jarvis Christian on Tuesday. OCU is outscoring opponents 17-0 in the five-game streak.
 
Shutouts Mounting: The only goals allowed by OCU this season have been on penalty kicks. The Stars' defense has allowed just 5.5 shots per game and only 2.7 shots on goal per match. The result has been four shutouts and a shared shutout for goalkeeper Alexis Bertrand. Bertrand has logged a 0.31 goals allowed average this season.
 
Hat Trick for Fahiya: Star Ruben Fahiya comes off a hat trick against Jarvis Christian. Those were the first goals of the season for Fahiya. Kenz Toms and Ethan Zeinalpor also had their first goals of the season in the 5-0 win with Toms getting the game-winner.
 
The Goals: Bernard Duarte leads the Stars with six goals this season – all coming in a three-game span during the current five-game win streak. OCU has 17 goals on the season. Francisco Miquel and Ruben Fahiya have three each. Kenz Toms, Ethan Zeinalpor, Sage Trevino, Nathan Fergeson and Harrison Knight have one each.
 
On the Assist: Eleven Stars have combined for 13 assists this season. Thomas Brulay and Ruben Fahiya lead the team with two apiece.
 
Shoot Your Shot: After a sluggish start, OCU is averaging more than 11 shots per game. Two Stars, Bernardo Duarte (17) and Harrison Knight (11), have combined for 28 of the 81 shots. Just over half of those shots have been on goal and 21 percent have found the net. Bernardo Duarte leads the team with nine shots on goal and Francisco Miquel has six.
 
Short History: The Stars and Williams Baptist have not previously met. OCU played to a 1-1 draw against Bellevue in Oklahoma City last season. Bernardo Duarte had a goal for OCU in that contest.
 
Scouting Williams Baptist: Williams Baptist dipped to 2-3-1 on the season after a 4-1 loss at home to John Brown. Ricardo di Silva leads the Eagles with three of the team's six goals.
 
Scouting Bellevue: The ninth-ranked Bruins are 6-1-1 after a 3-1 win over Briar Cliff. Bellevue hosts USAO on Tuesday. Jeremiah Hteh and Adam Sherwood lead Bellevue with three goals each.
 
Coach Billy Martin: Coach Martin is 54-29-10 since taking the helm at OCU in 2021. His 14-win season in 2024 was his best so far.
 
Keeper of the Week: Oklahoma City goalkeeper Alexis Bertrand's two clean sheets on the road earned him Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 2. Bertrand had three saves in those two wins.
