FORT WORTH—The Oklahoma City University softball team collected its 40th and 41st wins of the season as it took on the Texas Wesleyan Rams for its regular-season-concluding series in the Lone Star State on Friday. By sweeping the doubleheader against Texas Wesleyan on Friday, OCU extends its win streak to 10 games. OCU leaned on their pitching staff, which held the Rams offense to one run over the two games played on Friday; the Stars outscored the Rams 18-1 on the day.

The contest between the Stars and the Rams started quietly. OCU then produced big fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to secure their run-rule victory.
Analise Rayburn connected on an RBI single through the left side of the infield and drove Tara Hoehner in. Rally Radacy then put a ball in play that gave the Aggies' short stop issues, resulting in an error and a run scored by Rayburn.
Tara Hoehner recorded the Stars' first run of the game in the first inning with a SAC fly that scored Tiffany Paul.
During the fourth inning, OCU amassed four runs, starting with a Hoehner home run. Kendalyn Miller recorded an RBI single, which scored Analise Rayburn. Then Tiffany Paul recorded a two-RBI single, scoring Miller and Rally Radacy.
The Stars continued their scoring ways in the fifth inning when Rayburn hit her 19th home run of the season, the second most in NAIA. Rayburn now leads the nation in runs batted in with 82, nine more than the second-place hitter. The OCU shortstop is also fifth in batting average (.515).
OCU scratched three additional runs in the sixth inning to give them a comfortable lead, generating a run-rule win for the Stars. Carlee Mollett recorded an RBI single, bringing Miller across home plate. Tiffany Paul then collected an RBI on a SAC fly, and Hoehner rounded the scoring out with an RBI double that scored Mollett.
Game 2: Oklahoma City 8, TWU 0

In game two, OCU collected a shutout from their starting pitcher. Brynlee Alsip collected her 14th win of the 2025 season and pitched a complete game.
The Stars' offense put up big numbers during the middle innings, starting with Mollett scoring when there was an attempted steal at second base, Mollett scored on the throw down.
Rayburn hit a two-RBI double in the fourth inning, scoring Hoehner and Iliana Ashford. Radacy then scored another run for the Stars on a fielder's choice.
OCU took a 4-0 lead into the sixth inning and added two more runs to their run total. Radacy brought Hoehner home and Miller collected an RBI on a SAC fly, giving the Stars a 6-0 lead.
Lastly, in the seventh inning, OCU tallied two more runs to extend their lead again. Rayburn brought a run home when she connected on an RBI single, scoring Mollett. Emersen Heron then sent a SAC fly to the outfield to score the eighth run for the Stars.
Over the two games, the pitching staff dominated while only allowing 10 hits between both games. The Stars' offense scored crooked numbers in multiple frames and is looking to complete a sweep of the Rams on Saturday.

Oklahoma City will continue its 4-game series against TWU with a doubleheader on Saturday. The games are scheduled for 12 PM and 2 PM.
