OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma City University softball team collected its 34th and 35th wins of the 2025 season Thursday with a doubleheader sweep of the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies at Ann Lacy Stadium. The Stars notched two shutout run-rule victories in dominating fashion. OCU now moves to 23-5 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.

Emersen Heron: 6.0 IP, 0 ER, 2 H, 4 K, 2-3, RBI, R
Analise Rayburn: 3-4, 2 R, 4 RBI, HR
Neither offense scored a run within the first three innings while both starting pitchers settled into the circle. However, the Stars soon found their groove as an offense in the fourth inning and continued pouring on the runs after that point.
Analise Rayburn connected on an RBI single through the left side of the infield and drove Tara Hoehner in. Rally Radacy then put a ball in play that gave the Aggies' shortstop issues, resulting in an error, and Rayburn scored a run.
In the fifth inning, OCU cashed in on another error by the OPSU infield when Tara Hoehner reached base and Carlee Mollett scored. Rayburn came to the plate later in the inning and connected on a two-run home run (17). Emersen Heron followed the long ball of Rayburn with a home run of her own, providing back-to-back jacks for the Stars' offense.
Iliana Ashford kept the scoring going in the sixth inning by recording a sacrifice groundout that scored Mollett from third. Rayburn's third hit of the game was a single to right field, which scored Tiffany Paul and gave the Stars enough runs to record a run-rule win in the sixth inning.
Game 2: Oklahoma City 8, OPSU 0
Top Performers
Rally Radacy: 2-3, R
Tara Hoehner: 2-3, 2 R, RBI, 2B, 3B
In game two, OCU wasted no time putting runs on the board. The Stars' four-run first inning fueled their eventual run rule victory in game two.
Tiffany Paul led the game off with a solo shot home run. Hoehner then tripled through the left side of the Aggies' defense and scored Ashford. Rayburn followed her teammate's extra-base hit up with one of her own when she slashed a double to right center, scoring Hoehner. Lastly, in the first inning, Jaslyne Williams reached on a fielder's choice, resulting in Rayburn coming across home plate.
Brynlee Alsip struck out the side in the second inning, and the Stars collected two more offensive runs in the third inning. First, Rayburn singled and scored Hoehner. Then, Williams induced another fielder's choice, creating another run for OCU.
The Stars took a 6-0 run into the fifth inning and added the necessary amount of runs to win by run rule. Kindalyn Miller singled to right center and scored Rayburn. The decisive walk-off run was recorded when Mollett literally walked the game off with an RBI walk with the bases loaded.
Alsip dominated within the pitcher's circle and recorded a complete game shutout with seven strikeouts and zero walks allowed.
Over the two games, Rayburn amassed six RBIs and five runs while going 6-for-7. Rayburn accounted for 11 of the 16 runs scored by OCU on Thursday and hit for the cycle during the doubleheader.
