ST. LOUIS – Oklahoma City absorbed its first loss of the young basketball season, falling to Central Methodist 90-66 in the UHSP Tip-Off Classic on Friday.
 
It was a tough day for shooting for the Stars, who went 20 of 60 from the field.
 
Ellie Willard led the Stars with 16 points and four assists, while Lauren Rowan added 11 points.
 
Amanda Sene da Cruz and Weronika Tomaszuk had six rebounds apiece to lead the team's 40-rebound effort.
 
Defensively, Rowan had two blocked shots while Desiree White and Suniska Kartik each had a pair of steals.
 
Now 1-1, the Stars take on Ottawa (Ariz.) at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
