PLAINVIEW, Texas – With a 1-1 draw at Wayland Baptist and other results around the Sooner Athletic Conference, Oklahoma City has clinched a berth in the SAC postseason tournament.
 
The tie gave OCU a single-point lead over Mid-America Christian and John Brown atop the SAC standings.
 
Wayland Baptist scored first on Tuesday, getting a goal in the eighth minute.
 
Bernardo Duarte got his team-leading seventh goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 17^th minute.
 
OCU had 14 shots in the game, led by Duarte (7) and Ethan Taylor (5). Duarte had six shots on goal, Taylor had two and Juan Erazo tested the WBU keeper once.
 
Alexis Bertrand had six saves on the evening.
 
Now 10-3-3 overall and 4-0-3 in the SAC, the Stars play their final regular season road contest on Saturday, visiting Central Christian at 3:30 p.m.
