OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City closes down its regular season road schedule this week with trips to Wayland Baptist and Central Christian.
 
Tuesday's game is at 6:30 p.m. and the contest on Saturday starts at 3:30 p.m.

Shutouts: Through 15 games, the Stars have allowed nine goals. The Stars' defense has allowed just 7.8 shots per game and only 3.3 shots on goal per match. The result has been conference-best six shutouts and a shared shutout for goalkeeper Alexis Bertrand. Bertrand has logged a 0.62 goals allowed average this season to lead the SAC. Bertrand leads the Sooner Athletic Conference with that GAA, and he is second with a .796 save percentage.
 
The SAC: Heading into the week, Oklahoma City is tied for second in the Sooner Athletic Conference with 14 points on a 4-0-2 record. Wayland Baptist is fourth with 10 points and Central Christian is fifth with seven.
 
Stars on the Road: The Stars are 4-2-1 on the road this season and have outscored their hosts 11-3. Five of Bernardo Duarte's six goals this season have come in road games.
 
Half and Half: The Stars have outscored opponents by a 28-8 margin this season, allowing three first- and six second-half goals. OCU has 16 first-half goals and 12 second-half goals. 
 
Last Game: Oklahoma City's stingy defense came through again on Saturday, making a first-half goal stand up for a 1-0 win over Nelson. Juan Erazo got his first goal of the season, putting away a nice feed from Harrison Knight in the 28^th minute for the game-winner. Alexis Bertrand had two saves to collect his conference-leading sixth shutout of the season in goal.
 
Three-Game Trend: Over the last three games, OCU is 2-1 and outscoring opponents 3-1 in those defensive-themed matches. Ethan Taylor, Harrison Knight and Juan Erazo have OCU's three goals during the last three games.
 
The Goals: Bernardo Duarte leads the Stars and is ninth in the Sooner Athletic Conference with six goals this season. OCU has 28 goals on the season. Harrison Knight has four goals this season, followed by Nathan Fergeson, Francisco Miquel and Ruben Fahiya with three each. 
 
On the Assist: Thirteen Stars have combined for 21 assists this season. Ruben Fahiya, Harrison Knight and Thomas Brulay lead the team with three apiece. Sage Trevino and Ethan Taylor have two apiece.
 
Shoot Your Shot: OCU is averaging 12 shots per game. Two Stars, Harrison Knight (38) and Bernardo Duarte (28), have combined for 66 of the 180 shots. Over 41 percent of those 180 shots have been on goal and 16 percent have found the net. Bernardo Duarte leads the team with 14 shots on goal and Knight has 10.
 
WBU History: The Stars and Pioneers have tied the last two times they met with Thomas Brulay scoring for OCU and Jamol Williams countering for Wayland Baptist in a 1-1 draw last season in OKC. The teams played to a scoreless draw in the last meeting in Plainview in 2023.
 
Scouting the Pioneers: Wayland Baptist is 6-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 against the SAC this season after its 3-2 win at USAO on Saturday. Francis Motsi and Jamol Williams have eight goals apiece.
 
History with CCC: The Stars and Tigers have gone 3-3 against each other over the last six seasons and the Stars haven't won in McPherson since 2017. OCU won the meeting at home last season, 4-1.
 
Scouting the Tigers: Central Christian is 2-9-3 overall and 2-3-1 in the SAC after a 2-0 home loss to Mid-America Christian on Saturday. CCC hosts USAO on Tuesday. Genis Alcaide and Sidney Tippner lead the Tigers with four goals each.
 
Coach Billy Martin: Coach Martin is 57-31-12 since taking the helm at OCU in 2020. His 14-win season in 2024 was his best so far.
 
Keeper of the Week: Oklahoma City goalkeeper Alexis Bertrand's two clean sheets on the road earned him Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 2. Bertrand had three saves in those two wins. 
 
Hat Trick for Fahiya: Star Ruben Fahiya had a hat trick against Jarvis Christian. Those were the first goals of the season for Fahiya. Kenz Toms and Ethan Zeinalpor also had their first goals of the season in the 5-0 win, with Toms getting the game-winner.
 
Carded: While OCU has racked up 35 yellow cards this season, their opponents have also been physical. OCU opponents have 44 cards through 15 games.
