PLAYERS TO WATCH
Hallie Crom
Getting out to a hot start to the 2024 campaign, Crom has put together two hat tricks in back-to-back games coming against Bethany and Sterling. After scoring just one goal in Crom's first season last year, the Stars senior now leads the team with seven goals.Â
Abby Russell
The top goal scorer of last year's team and first team all-conference member Abby Russell has been very active in junior season by either scoring or assisting in four of the five games this season. Russell ties for the second most goals on the team with three as Russell scored her first goal of the season on Thursday against Our Lady of the Lake in the Stars home-opener as she netted the game-winner in the 82nd minute to lead Oklahoma City to a 2-1 win.Â
Russell netted her next two in the same match in the 11-1 win over Sterling while also dishing out an assist to bring her total to a team-high of five.
Saizlee Carlton
Carlton only saw action in three games a season ago, however the Stars junior has made a strong impact in 2024 as a starter in all five games. Carlton has scored or assisted in three of the five games this season while she did both against Our Lady of the Lake before notching two assists in the same game in the win over Sterling.Â

SCOUTING THE BRUINS…
Bellevue comes in undefeated with two ties in its last two matches. The Bruins scored a season-high five goals in their 5-0Â win over Northwestern one of the three shutouts this season.Â
Bellevue junior Sami Reding leads the team with three goals as two of them came against Northwestern on Aug. 24 while her other came in a 1-1 tie against Concordia on Sept. 4.
Three different Bruins tie for second in goals with two each which includes Mia Hurt, Adi Kasel and Ketlyn Rota.Â
Alessia Ricciardi has made the start in goal for Bellevue in all six matches this season allowing three goals while having 13 saves.Â
SERIES HISTORY
The two schools will be meeting for the fourth time in the all-time series and the first time since 2016. The series record stands at 1-1-1 as the first ever meeting came in the national tournament in 2010 which OCU won in PKs.Â
The following match came with an OCU win in 2013 before Bellevue won for the first time in 2016.Â
