SILVIS, IL. - The Oklahoma City women's golf team finished second at the NAIA National Championship after shooting its best round of 18 holes of the tournament with a team score of 292 (+4) in the fourth and final round on Friday.

Despite a slow start to the opening round on Tuesday, the Stars heated up on the back nine to solidify a third place spot after day one. The Stars remained in third place until a big push on the final day of the tournament.

Oklahoma City finished in second place shooting a 292 final score, their lowest of the four rounds they played this week. They were only the second team to finish under 300 on the day. British Columbia, the winners of the previous two championships, finished in third place with a 301 final round.
