HOW IT HAPPENED

Shelbey Cornelson worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the first to help the Stars strike first in the bottom frame on a solo homer by Kamryn Garvie.

Oklahoma City (16-1) scored runs in every inning except the fourth as Rally Radacy brought in Tiffany Paul in the second on an error by the Evangels second baseman.

Mid-America Christian (10-6) tied the game with two runs in the top half of the third however the Evangels went right back down after Tara Hoehner slashed a three-run bomb over the left center field wall to go back up 5-2.

The Stars used two more home runs in the game to extend their lead as Hoehner did it once again followed by Baileigh Loux smashing one off the scoreboard to finish things off 9-2.
