OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City women's basketball is back in action after a two-game hiatus due to a pair of forfeits caused by injuries and will be hosting SAGU at 6 PM inside Abe Lemons Arena.

  • Oklahoma City enters Thursday's game against the Lions with a 6-16 overall record while holding a 5-11 record in conference play.

  • SAGU comes into Thursday's contest 13-8 overall with a 10-6 record in conference play as the Lions sit tied for fifth place in the conference standings with Mid-America Christian.
  • The Lions enter winning its last six of eight games and come off a victory over Central Christian on Saturday (Feb. 3) 66-42.
  • SAGU is led by three double-figures scorers starting with Agar Farres Garcia leading the way with 12.9 PPG and leads the SAC in rebounds per game with 11.1.
  • Rylee Lavendar falls behind at 10.3 PPG with Neeley Tilley-Bedick rounding out the top scorers with 10.1 PPG.
  • Despite being held to just three points against the Tigers, Farres Garcia has been a force on the boards this season for the Lions having only hauled in single-digit rebounds on two occasions while notching 11 double-doubles this year.

Previous Meeting

  • The previous time these two schools clashed came back on Jan. 4 inside the Sheaffer Center in Waxahachie, Texas as the Lions used a 26-point second quarter to bolster them to a 76-59 win over OCU.
