WICHITA, Kan. - The Oklahoma City Men's Soccer team saw its historic 2024 season come to an end on Tuesday night in a 2-0 decision to Mobile in the NAIA National Tournament Round of 16 at Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita.

How it Happened
The Rams of Mobile controlled the possession early on taking three shots through the first 12 minutes while ball the remained on their side of the pitch. The control turned to the other side as Oklahoma City found its first opportunity in the 14th minute as the captain
Thomas Brulay sent in a shot going off the crossbar followed with a shot on-goal two minutes later by
David Imbert that was saved by the Rams keeper. Emilio Cazares and Jeb Scarbrough kept on the attack for Mobile both taking shots on-goal that were rejected by Stars goalie
Alexis Bertrand who came up with three remarkable saves in the first 45.
Out of the break with no score, Cazares and Scarbrough kept taking their chances before the Rams broke through with games first score off the foot of Joseph McMahon on the dime from Cazares to make it 1-0 in 62nd minute. OCU remained without a shot attempt for the next seven minutes while Mobile took the upper hand and extended its lead with the second goal of the night for the Rams coming from Samuel Mutiri. In a hole trialing by two, Oklahoma City struggled to find its chances finishing with four shots in the second half, two coming from
Jovanny Nsonga while not being able to get any of the four shots to come on-goal as Mobile shut things down with a 2-0 shutout win over OCU to end the Stars season in the Round of 16.

- Oklahoma City finishes its season 14-2-4, having its highest number of wins since 2017.
- The Stars Round of 16 appearances was its deepest run in the NAIA National Tournament since 2008 where Oklahoma City reached the semifinal round.
- Alexis Bertrand tabbed his second-highest save count of the season with seven total, three behind his career-high of 10 set against John Brown in the SAC Semifinal on Nov. 9.
- Mobile outshot the Oklahoma City 16-7 as the Rams took eight shots in each period while OCU tied its season-low in shot attempts while having its lowest number of shots on-goal this season with only one.
- Jordan Da Costa and Jovanny Nsonga were the only two Stars to have multiple shots on-goal while David Imbert, Thomas Brualy and Keita Kishino had one attempt each.
