How it Happened
Oklahoma City wasted no time getting started as
Marco Alongi netted the Stars first goal in the very first minute of the contest. Moments later,
Thomas Brulay got out on the break feeding
David Imbert running in from the left side and nailing the second goal for OCU in less than four minutes. The early scoring continued as Central Christian got on the board in the fifth minute as the ball got tied up inside the box where Johnny Rodriguez placed it into the goal cutting the deficit in half. With no score through almost the entirety of the second half, Oklahoma City pulled away with a pair of insurance goals from
Jovanny Nsonga and once again Imbert who capped it off in the 88th minute.
