STARS OUTLOOK
Oklahoma City comes off its first loss of the season on the road at #15 Mid-America Christian. The Stars were shutout for the first time all year in the 2-0 defeat as both goals came in the final 12 minutes of action of Tuesday. OCU outscored its oppoenents 32-0 through the first four games of the season before tying with #5 Bellevue. After the draw, Oklahoma City won its next four in a row before tying with Wayland Baptist the previous time out at Brian Harvey Field. During its four game winning streak
Marco Alongi scored in each match to bring team-high total to 10 on the year tying for second most in the conference.
David Imbert and
Jovanny Nsonga tie for the second most goals on the squad as each of them last scored against Oklahoma Panhandle State for their sixth goal of the season.
Thomas Brulay ties for the conference lead with eight assists while scoring five times on the year including the one goal against Wayland Baptist in the 1-1 draw.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Central Christian comes into Saturday with a 5-6-2 overall record while starting 1-3-1 in conference play. The Tigers come off three straight losses while having just one win since Sept. 13 while most recently falling to John Brown 3-2. Johnny Rodriguez and Adrian Garcia netted the two goals against the Golden Eagles as the two teams went into the locker room tied up at half before John Brown scored the winner in the 74th minute of play.  Marco Cherchi leads the Tigers with six goals after getting out to a hot start in the 2024 campaign scoring in all of the first three games.Â

SERIES HISTORYÂ
Oklahoma City holds a 4-3 record over the Tigers since 2017 as neither team has been able to win back-to-back games in the series since OCU did it in 2017 and 2018. Central Christian came away with the victory 1-0 last year as Johnny Rodriguez assisted Camilo Penafiel in the 69th minute for the game winning goal. The Stars last win came in 2022 where
Jordan Da Costa provided the Stars first goal on a corner kick before Jusung Kang put the match to bed with the second goal of the match in the 81st minute to win 2-0.Â
BRIAN HARVEY DAYÂ
Saturday will be the annual celebration of Brian Harvey Day where Oklahoma City University will honor the late Coach Harvey. Harvey guided the OCU men's program to a 435-211-43 mark and the women to a 378-130-27 record in 26 years. Harvey's win totals stand second all-time among NAIA women's soccer coaches and sixth on the men's list.  Harvey became conference coach of the year 16 times, including the men's SAC coach of the year in 2014. He was named 1999 NAIA Region VI men's and women's coach of the year and 1991 Arkansas-Oklahoma coach of the year. He led the Chiefs and Stars to four section titles (two men, two women), two NAIA District IX men's crowns and three NAIA Region VI women's titles. A native of Liverpool, England, Harvey graduated from St. BonavenÂture University in 1966 with a degree in physical education. He played soccer professionally in Australia, China, England and the United States. Harvey first came to the United States to play for the Dallas Tornadoes in the North American Soccer League and toured with the Tornadoes around the world. He competed against the legendary Pele in Hong Kong in 1972.Â
