OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University brings back the Stars Soccer Camp for this upcoming summer.

OCU coach Billy Martin will put on the Stars Soccer Camp at Brian Harvey Field. There will be a variety of options for youth interested in soccer set for June and July.

For information or questions, contact Martin at (405) 208-5165 or wjmartin@okcu.edu. Cost for most camps is $125. The commuter camp costs $400, and the residential camp is priced at $450.

The day camps are for ages 5-14 with dates June 5-9 and July 10-14 with the evening camp June 30-July 2. The camp provides a fun, safe environment for kids which includes individual skills, small-sided and full-sided games, laws of the game, tactical and technical training and much more. The fun filled introduction to the basic skills of the game allows the campers to improve on juggling, dribbling, shooting, heading, passing, collecting and goalkeeping. Campers get instruction plus a t-shirt.

The keeper/striker camp occurs June 12-14 including instruction, cafeteria lunch and a camp shirt for ages 10-18. This camp is geared to train strikers in multiple finishing techniques, while goalkeepers learn several shot-stopping skills. Both groups will test their skills in competitive game situations.

The residential and commuter camps are set for June 18-22. The residential/commuter camp is designed for the more serious soccer player from the ages of 10-18 who want to improve their game while in the college setting. Campers will experience expert instruction, technical and tactical training, small-sided and full-sided games, film and a fun atmosphere.
