FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma City University takes on Texas Wesleyan at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sid Richardson Center in the Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference women's basketball tournament quarterfinals. 

Oklahoma City (13-14) nabbed the No. 8 seed for the tournament. Texas Wesleyan, ranked 17th in the NAIA, snatched the top seed. 

Annilia Dawn, a senior psychology major from Amarillo, Texas, spearheaded the Stars with 14.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.56 steals a game in 2022-23. She provided her career-high scoring performance as OCU defeated a ranked team for the first time this season in an 81-74 victory Saturday against No. 24 Mid-America Christian on the road.

Kertisa Amos has provided Texas Wesleyan with 16.1 points and 5.7 rebounds a game. Texas Wesleyan took both games in the season series, edging OCU 63-61 on Nov. 17 at Abe Lemons Arena. 

The SAC Tournament semifinals and championships take place at the Gaulke Activity Center on the campus of Mid-America Christian University on Feb. 27-28.
