SHAWNEE, Okla. – Oklahoma City University collected an 11-1 victory over Southern Arkansas on Tuesday at the Noble Complex.
The Stars opened the season with a loss to Oklahoma Baptist 20-1 on Tuesday evening. Oklahoma City's season opener featured the national runners-up on the NAIA and NCAA Division II levels from 2020-21.
Against Southern Arkansas, OCU outscored its opponent 9-0 in the final three quarters. The Stars scored four points in the fourth period.
Against Oklahoma Baptist, the Stars recorded their point in the fourth quarter. Oklahoma Baptist had a 12-0 lead through three quarters.
OCU returns to the Noble Complex for STUNT contests Feb. 25-27. The Stars meet Dallas Baptist at 3 p.m., then Texas Woman's at 4 p.m. Feb. 25 in Shawnee, Okla.
