CHICKASHA, Okla. – Two overtime goals were the difference as No. 20 Science and Arts defeated Oklahoma City University 2-0 in a Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer semifinal tournament match.
The Stars had a chance to win in the final minutes of regulation, but
April Hill's attempt was blocked, ending the threat. OCU had two additional shot attempts by
Madi Caputo and
Cara Compton with six minutes left, but came way with no goals.
The Drovers scored their first goal in the 91st minute by Kyleigh Fort, then scored another in the 105th minute by Alicia Rey.
The Stars finished the game with 12 shots, and seven on goal, while the Drovers' had 23 shots with 11 on goal.
