• The Stars pounded Panhandle State on Thursday in Goodwell, Okla. OCU (25-2, 18-1 SAC) posted 25 wins for the 20th time in 21 years and improved its winning streak to 12

Mallory Lockhart, a 5-foot-7 freshman from Keller, Texas, produced 18 points after shooting 6-for-11 from 3-point land. Lockhart matched her season high with six 3-pointers. Lockhart posts 11.8 points a game with 46.1 percent shooting from beyond the arc
Abby Selzer, a 6-2 freshman from Thomas, Okla., supplied OCU with 14 points and seven rebounds. Selzer has reached double digits in scoring in 11 games in a row. Selzer tops the Stars with 16.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Selzer's 66.1 percent shooting from the floor leads the NAIA

• OCU went to 10th in the last NAIA Division I rankings. Oklahoma City added to the NAIA's longest streak of top-25 appearances, making its 251st consecutive national ranking dating back to 1997-98. OCU has made 24 trips to the NAIA Division I Tournament and captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017
• The Stars picked up the second spot in the Sooner Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll. Oklahoma City took its 18th SAC regular-season championship and 12th SAC Tournament title last season. OCU has won or shared nine of the past 11 league titles, going 218-21 (.912 winning percentage) within SAC play since 2007-08
• Wayland Baptist upended the Stars 70-63 on Jan. 10 in Oklahoma City. Selzer provided Oklahoma City with 19 points and 12 rebounds. OCU has a 1-2 record against ranked opponents this season. Oklahoma City has a 39-26 all-time mark against Wayland Baptist

ABOUT THE FLYING QUEENS
• Wayland Baptist crushed Southwestern Christian 99-49 on Thursday in Plainview, Texas. Wayland Baptist (12-11, 8-9 SAC) remained tied for the single-season program record with eight 100-point scoring outputs in 2018-19

• Kaylee Edgemon, a 5-7 sophomore, had 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Edgemon averages 12.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. She ranks 14th in the NAIA with a 49 percent field-goal percentage
• Wayland Baptist leads the NAIA with a 1.44-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio
• Wayland Baptist upset No. 1-ranked Vanguard (Calif.) 60-58 on Dec. 19 in Costa Mesa, Calif.
• SAC coaches predicted the Flying Queens to win the SAC in the preseason conference poll

MEET THE COACHES
Bo Overton (107-19, fourth season with OCU)

• Led Stars to 28-6 season with the SAC regular-season and tournament crowns in 2017-18
• Overton has coached four all-Americans while at OCU, including Daniela Wallen, the 2017 NAIA Division I player of the year, and Daniela Galindo, the 2018 WBCA NAIA player of the year
• Overton served as an assistant coach for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Olympics
• From 1998-2004, he served as assistant for Oklahoma. During that time, the Sooners made five NCAA Tournament trips with the 2002 NCAA runner-up finish and Final Four berth with three Big 12 regular-season titles and two conference tournament crowns

• He has an overall record coaching college women of 129-66, notching his 100th career win in a 78-53 victory at Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Feb. 23, 2018
 
Alesha Ellis (139-47, sixth season with WBU)
• Wayland Baptist handed Ellis her 100th career win in four-plus seasons as head coach in a 65-39 win over Panhandle State on Jan. 15, 2018
• Ellis has led Wayland Baptist to four consecutive appearances in the NAIA Division I Tournament. In her first year as head coach, Ellis led the Flying Queens to a 20-12 record and a trip to the national tournament for just the second time in a decade
• Ellis took Lubbock Christian High School (Texas) to the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Class 3A state championship prior to becoming the Wayland coach
