OCU takes 2-0 setback at USAO

Stars finish regular season 6-9-2

CHICKASHA, Okla. – Oklahoma City University suffered a 2-0 loss to Science & Arts of Oklahoma on Thursday at McLaughlin Field.
USAO held a 23-7 advantage in shots, while in shots on goal, USAO generated 14, while OCU mustered two. The Stars went to 6-9-2, 1-6-2 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.
Gustavo Cardoso, a sophomore from São Paulo, Brazil, and Julio Hernandez, a senior from El Reno, Okla., topped OCU with two shots apeice. Andre Salvador, a senior from São Bento do Sul, Brazil, made a season-high 12 saves for the Stars.
OCU, currently eighth place in the SAC, has a chance to compete in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals Friday, Nov. 8. The top eight schools in the conference receive a bid to the conference tournament.
