OKLAHOMA CITY – USAO kept Oklahoma City University coach Brian Harvey from getting his 800th career victory by eliminating the Stars from the Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament semifinals 3-0 on Monday at Stars Field.
Harvey will enter next season with a combined men's and women's college record of 799-323-68 in 33 years. OCU finished its season 11-3-2, while USAO (15-4-1) reached the SAC Tournament championship.
Oklahoma City won its 14th SAC regular-season title and reached double figures in wins for the 23rd time in the 25-year history of the program in 2018. Harvey has compiled a 370-121-27 mark in women's soccer and a 429-202-41 record in men's soccer. Harvey notched his 425th men's win Oct. 2 in a 3-1 victory at Texas Wesleyan.
