THE MATCHUPS
• Oklahoma City University travels to San Antonio for the 2018 Our Lady of the Lake Classic
• OCU faces Dillard (La.) in the Stars' first contest of the event
• The Stars take on Edward Waters (Fla.) in OCU's last game before opening conference play
 
ABOUT THE STARS
• The Stars are coming off their first loss of the season 89-81 on Saturday against No. 15 Our Lady of the Lake (Texas). OCU (4-1) is now 1-1 against ranked opponents this season

Mallory Lockhart, a 5-foot-7 freshman, delivered 18 points and two steals while hitting 4 of 9 3-point attempts, posting season bests in scoring and 3-pointers Saturday. Lockhart averages 9.2 points and 1.20 steals a game while hitting 38.5 percent from 3-point range
Abby Selzer, a 6-2 freshman from Thomas, Okla., powered OCU with 17 points and five rebounds while shooting 6-for-8 from the floor. Selzer leads Oklahoma City in scoring with 15.6 points per game, rebounds per game (6.2) and shooting percentage (71.8 percent). Selzer ranks second nationally in field-goal percentage and ninth in the NAIA wit 2.00 blocks per game

• Oklahoma City sits at 10th in the preseason NAIA Division I rankings. The Stars reached the NAIA Tournament for the 21st consecutive year and for the 24th time overall last season. OCU has captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017
• The Stars picked up the second spot in the Sooner Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll. OCU took its 18th SAC regular-season championship and 12th SAC Tournament title last season
• OCU has gone 2-1 against Dillard over the years. In the most previous meeting, the Stars knocked Dillard out of the NAIA Tournament 66-46 on March 19, 2004 in Jackson, Tenn. Kesha Watson topped OCU with 22 points
• The Stars have a 1-0 all-time record against Edward Waters. OCU eliminated Edward Waters from the NAIA Division I Tournament with a 95-65 win March 13, 2002 in Jackson, Tenn.
 
ABOUT THE LADY BLEU DEVILS
• Dillard improved to 5-0 after a 101-94 win over LSU-Alexandria on Saturday in Alexandria, La. Dillard hit 50 percent of its shots from the field in the second half to down LSU-Alexandria
• Adriiana Jackson, a 5-2 senior, registered a career-high 30 points and 12 rebounds in Dillard's victory over LSU-Alexandria on Saturday. Jackson finished 9-for-18 from the field and was 11-for-14 from the free-throw line. Jackson had a team-high six assists. Jackson is averaging 15.2 points, 7.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.20 steals per game
• Alyssa Washington, a 5-8 senior, scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds to go with five assists against LSU-Alexandria, Washington leads the Lady Bleu Devils in rebounding with 7.6 and assists with 3.2, while scoring at a 14.4 points per game. Washington was the second Lady Bleu Devil in school history to reach 1,000 career points
• Dillard, which was receiving votes in the preseason NAIA top 25, was picked to win a second straight Gulf Coast Athletic Conference championship in the GCAC preseason coaches' poll
• Dillard is ranked 10th nationally in assists per game (19.8) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.34-to-1) and 11th in scoring offense per game with (88.8)  

ABOUT THE LADY TIGERS
• Jermisha Collins, a 5-6 senior, led the Lady Tigers with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four steals in Thursday's 81-63 victory over Voorhees (S.C.) in Jacksonville, Fla. Collins hit 8 of her 17 field-goal attempts in 19 minutes on the floor. Collins in 12th in the NAIA in total scoring (112), ranked 13th nationally in offensive rebounds per game (4.0) and 14th in total steals (20)
• Edward Waters (5-0) is rated third the NAIA with (21.0) offensive rebounds per game, fourth in total steals (109), sixth in total assists (117), seventh in total offensive rebounds (314), 10th in steals per game (15.57) and 13th in total scoring offense (542)
• Edward Waters was picked to finish second behind defending GCAC champ Dillard in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference preseason poll
 
MEET THE COACHES
Bo Overton (86-18, fourth season with OCU)
• Led Stars to 28-6 season with the SAC regular-season and tournament crowns in 2017-18
• Overton has coached four all-Americans while at OCU, including Daniela Wallen, the 2017 NAIA Division I player of the year, and Daniela Galindo, the 2018 WBCA NAIA player of the year
• Overton served as an assistant coach for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Olympics
• From 1998-2004, he served as assistant for Oklahoma. During that time, the Sooners made five NCAA Tournament trips with the 2002 NCAA runner-up finish and Final Four berth with three Big 12 regular-season titles and two conference tournament crowns
 
Norbert Rome (11th season with Dillard)
• Rome returned to his alma mater in 2007-08
• Rome has assisted tremendously in the rebuilding process of the athletics department to help it achieve its original success prior to Hurricane Katrina
• While serving in this position he has helped bring in an all-American and two all-conference players to Dillard
• Rome recently assisted in coaching Angels Basketball, an 11th grade AAU team, to a national championship in 2012
• Rome graduated from Dillard University with a bachelor of arts in sociology in 2001

Charmaine Wilson (eighth season with Edward Waters)
• Wilson came to Edward Waters after spending seven seasons as an assistant coach at Bethune-Cookman. She was instrumental in the rebuilding of the Lady Wildcats basketball program in Daytona Beach, Fla., under Vanessa Blair
• Wilson became the first Allen (S.C.) basketball coach to win an Eastern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament game
• While at South Carolina State, Wilson was a three-year team captain and earned best hustle and most improved awards
