Stars postpone soccer matches

OCU meets St. Gregory's on Oct. 12, start league play Saturday at Southwestern Christian

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University has postponed its Sooner Athletic Conference men's and women's soccer matches vs. St. Gregory's to Oct. 12 at Stars Field due to the rainy weather in the Oklahoma City metro area.
The Stars were originally scheduled to play St. Gregory's on Tuesday evening. OCU now opens league play at Southwestern Christian on Saturday in Bethany, Okla., with the women's contest 1 p.m. and the men's match 3 p.m.
Oklahoma City completed men's non-conference play at 7-1 after its 3-1 loss to Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday at home. The Stars fell short of the program-best start from 1989 of 9-0. OCU stands at 4-2 on the women's side after its third consecutive victory 3-0 over Kansas Wesleyan.
Brian Harvey's men's and women's college coaching record stands at 773-304-63 in his 32nd season as OCU coach. He holds a men's mark of 419-192-38 and a women's ledger of 354-112-25.
