OKLAHOMA CITY – Ailee Thompson from Oklahoma City University boasted of the Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer offensive player of the week during Sept. 21-27.
Thompson, a senior from Oklahoma City, produced two goals and an assist in a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan on Thursday in Bartlesville, Okla. The Stars, ranked 24th in the NAIA, saddled Oklahoma Wesleyan with its first loss of the season.
This year, Thompson owns five goals, six assists and 16 points.
OCU resumes SAC play against Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Stars field. Watch the match live.
