SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Oklahoma City University's showdown with Grace (Ind.) on Saturday in the John Brown Invitational has been chosen as the NAIA Network women's soccer match of the week.
The Stars, who received votes in the preseason national poll, faces 15th-ranked Grace at 5 p.m. Saturday at Alumni Field. Catch the John Brown Invitational games via live stats and video here.
The NAIA Network game of the week highlights member schools that utilize live video streaming with Stretch Internet and is different from the traditional NAIA game of the week.
The Stars (2-0) come off a 2-1 double-overtime victory over 24th-ranked Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) on Sunday at Stars Field. Allison Worsham, a senior from Edmond, Okla., gave OCU the victory with a goal in the 109th minute off a feed from Ailee Thompson, a senior from Oklahoma City.
Brian Harvey recorded his 725th win as OCU coach Sunday. Harvey led OCU to its first win in soccer 29 years ago Sunday. OCU defeated Oklahoma State in a men's contest Sept. 6, 1986 in the program's debut.
The Stars meet Kansas Wesleyan at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Alumni Field in OCU's other match in the John Brown Invitational.
