OCU meets Texas Wesleyan in SAC Tournament

Stars get No. 7 seed in tournament

Keeley Brewer helped the Stars record three shutouts in the regular season.
FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma City University earned the seventh seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament and will travel to Texas Wesleyan for a first-round match 7 p.m. Friday at Martin Field.
The Stars ended the regular season with a 2-0 loss to USAO on Oct. 31 at Stars Field. OCU went 5-8-1 overall, 3-5-1 in the SAC.
OCU is led by junior Allison Worsham. The forward from Edmond, Okla., is first on the team with 31 points, 14 goals with three assists. Her 14 goals put her third in the SAC in scoring.
The Stars defense is led by senior Ashleigh Story. Story, of Edmond, Okla., has started all 77 matches in her career. She helped OCU gather three shutouts this season.
Texas Wesleyan went 10-4-1, 6-2-1 in the SAC en route to the No. 2 seed. The Rams are led by Kaitlin Bush, who is tied for seventh in the SAC with nine goals. Texas Wesleyan topped OCU 3-2 in double overtime Oct. 28 at Martin Field. Follow the match via live stats here.
