McLachlan of OCU becomes SAC player of week

Senior from Airdrie, Scotland boasts of his first weekly league award

OKLAHOMA CITY – Kieran McLachlan of Oklahoma City University collected Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer player of the week for Oct. 20-26.
McLachlan, a senior from Airdrie, Scotland, provided the Stars with two goals on the week. McLachlan nabbed his first conference player of the week nod.
Against Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday, McLachlan contributed the third goal of the night for the Stars. At Mid-America Christian, McLachlan put OCU on the board for the first time Saturday.
This fall, McLachlan has supplied Oklahoma City with four goals, five assists and 13 points. He has scored a goal each in the Stars' last three matches.
The Stars are 7-3-2 and lead the SAC with a 6-0-1 ledger. OCU faces Texas Wesleyan at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Fort Worth, Texas. Follow the contest via live stats.
